Michelle Lara is an Accountant on the Finance team, who ensures payments are delivered quickly and accurately to grantee organizations, vendors, contractors, and foundation employees. She brings over a decade of accounting experience to her role at Inatai, as well as deep knowledge around the operations of locally owned businesses and nonprofit organizations in Washington. Michelle earned her associate’s degree at Yakima Valley Community College.
Michelle is proud to call the Yakima Valley her home and remains grounded in the values instilled in her thanks to the strong Mexican American community she is a part of. She enjoys spending time with her family in her leisure time, whether it’s traveling, attending gatherings, or relaxing at home. She loves the summertime in Washington and getting to soak up the sun along the edge of a lake, river, or beach.
