As a Communications Associate, Alyssa supports various communications efforts across the foundation. They bring over a decade of experience in video, marketing, and communications. Alyssa leads the foundation’s newsletter strategy and coordinates photography and supports in the development of video work. As a passionate storyteller, Alyssa is dedicated to elevating the expertise and stories of Washington’s communities and honoring people’s truth through his work. Most recently, he worked as the marketing & communications manager at an arts organization that provides creative engagement to those who have experienced trauma.
Alyssa earned their BFA in film from the Purchase Film Conservatory. In her free time, she loves cooking, rooting for Manchester United, and hanging out with her cat Biko.
