Grace Tissell (she/her) comes to Inatai Foundation as a Human Resources Operations Manager, overseeing everyday operations of human resources (HR) practices and processes within the foundation. Grace is based in Douglas County, bringing over 8 years of progressive experience in human resources, organizational development, employee engagement, and talent management.
Before Inatai, Grace was a Benefits & Leave Manager for Linfield University, leading efforts to expand equitable access to benefits while implementing trauma-informed practices to foster trust, transparency, and inclusion. She is working toward her master’s degree in leadership and organizational development from the University of Texas at Dallas and holds a bachelor’s degree in global and cultural sociology from George Fox University.
In her Douglas County community, Grace is part of the Apple Valley Human Resources Association and a member of SHRM, a global association for HR professionals. When she’s out and about, she enjoys taking in the scenery along the Columbia River trails with her husband and two Collies.
