Learning & Leadership Grants

Range: $1,000 – $25,000 depending on location, number of team members, and registration costs.

Application due: At least 60 days and up to one year before the specified training or conference.

The Transformational Capacity Building Fund supports Inatai grantees in growing their knowledge, capacity, and capabilities for building power in their community. Conferences, workshops, and training programs can be an effective way to strengthen your team’s skills, but can be financially out of reach. Under this fund, our Learning & Leadership grants are designed to help your organization bridge this gap.

Eligibility Requirements

  • This opportunity is only available to current grantee organizations.
  • There is a maximum of one grant per organization per year.
  • The training or conference focus should support your organization to strengthen capabilities in supporting your community to build power.
  • We are a statewide foundation and we recognize the importance of investing in communities across Washington. As we continue to learn and grow, our focus on geographic equity continues to develop. At this time, we will be prioritizing grantee organizations in the following counties: Adams, Lincoln, Douglas, Klickitat, Wahkiakum, Jefferson, Columbia, Asotin, Garfield Grant, Ferry, Stevens, Pend Oreille, Okanogan, Cowlitz, Whitman, Skamania, and Snohomish.
