TACOMA, Wash. — Brandy Dukes, an executive with decades of experience in operations and project management, has joined Inatai Foundation’s leadership team as Vice President of Operations & Administration. In her new role, Brandy will manage and oversee the Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, and Operations departments.
“Brandy is a proven leader dedicated to issue advocacy and people leadership,” said President & CEO Nichole June Maher. “Her experience managing strategic initiatives that advance equity makes her leadership a valuable addition to the Inatai team. We are so glad she chose to join our organization.”
Maher added, “Brandy is an excellent example of how there are brilliant leaders committed to equity and racial justice in every part of our state, and we are thrilled she has tipped our executive team constellation so that four out of six members live beyond Seattle.”
Brandy is based in Tacoma and joined the foundation Dec. 1. She brings to the position nearly two decades of experience as a leader of both people and projects, including oversight of large-scale initiatives spanning complex systems. She began her career in healthcare, helping organizations such as SoundPath Health and Group Health Cooperative streamline and scale their operations to support customers.
In 2012, Brandy joined Multicare Health System in Tacoma and, over the course of a decade, rose from her initial role as a Senior IT Project Manager to her most recent position as Associate Vice President of Portfolio Management & Business Operations. While there, she was responsible for leading the enterprise project management office, as well as overseeing and executing MultiCare’s strategic portfolio of projects and enterprise-wide initiatives to ensure equitable patient care. She holds an MBA from Benedictine University and a bachelor’s degree in English from Illinois State University.
“What attracted me to Inatai is the impactful work we get to do alongside communities — led by people from all different walks of life,” Brandy shared. “To me, that’s the draw — and I’m so excited to embark on this journey.”
